About PACT

Built by the people who sit in the seats.

PACT was created by sitting board members and AI experts who saw the same gap from both sides — directors who needed to govern AI but had no structured way to build the fluency, and technologists who understood the capability but had no seat at the governance table. PACT exists to close that gap permanently.

Our advisors

Guided by directors and experts who govern at the highest level.

If PACT has an advisory board, this is where it goes. Names, titles, and board affiliations.

Why now

AI governance can’t wait for the next generation of directors.

Every major jurisdiction is legislating AI governance simultaneously. The EU AI Act is in force. NIST frameworks are being adopted across regulated industries. And the directors accountable for these decisions — most of them appointed for their financial, legal, or operational expertise — are being asked to govern a technology that didn’t exist when they joined their boards.

Traditional board education was designed for a world where the syllabus holds still for three years. That world is gone. PACT was built for the one that replaced it.

How we think

You learn governance by governing.

PACT is built on a single premise: that the only meaningful preparation for a high-stakes decision is practice under conditions that feel like the real thing. Not case studies. Not webinars. Not multiple-choice assessments. Simulated pressure, real consequences, and honest feedback — repeated until the judgement is second nature.

Everything we’ve built follows from that premise. The simulation. The tools. The certification. The continuous updates. All of it exists because governance is a practice, not a credential.
